As the wife of a soldier, I have learned a lot about packing and moving on little notice. Oftentimes, when my husband receives orders to move to a new base, it is something that must be followed out in just a few short weeks. After moving six times in five years, I have gotten the packing and moving process down to a science. I know exactly how to pack boxes so that I have everything that I need the minute that we arrive at the new home and I know how to unpack so that I only have to touch things once after we arrive.
